Sky Sheep
When Chikki's face turned to the sky.
He glanced at a sheep in the sky.
His body parts asked him about it,
And a desire dawned in his mind.
He got ready to ask father about it;
He longed to pet it himself.
When Chikki's demand hung in the air,
At that, father began to reply:
"Hey, son, that is not a sheep:
That may be a moving cloud in the sky.
We can't catch it."
No sooner had he heard it
Then his face furrowed profusely.
He fixed his obstinacy
And also started to weep.
Daddy tried to console him,
Yet he didn't stop it.
Then daddy said to him, rubbing gently,
"Hey, son, don't worry. Take it easy.
The thing that you saw is not a genuine sheep:
That is only a sheep-shaped cloud.
I will buy you a new sheep to pet.
Don't ever be distressed over it."
The child became delighted.
